FAQ

Account and organization

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?, enter your email and select Send reset link. The link in the email is valid for 1 hour: choose a New password, confirm it, and select Reset password. Resetting signs you out on every device, so sign in again afterwards. See Troubleshooting → Sign-in and access.

Why can't I sign in after several wrong passwords?

After 5 failed sign-ins for the same email within 15 minutes, sign-in is locked for 15 minutes, and you see Too many failed login attempts. Try again later. Wait, then try again, or reset your password, which also clears the lock. See Troubleshooting → Sign-in and access.

Which role do I have, and what does it let me do?

Open Organization settings: the Dashboard shows Your role. Members use Home, the reports shared with them, Chat with AI, Teams and Common Spaces. Integrators also get Connectors, Data Models, Schema Intelligence, Business Knowledge, Data Pipelines, Workflow Studio and Metrics, and can create reports, while only Admins open Organization details, Members, Pending Invites, Billing and Usage. See Roles at a glance.

Can I belong to more than one organization?

No. Your account can be an active member of only one organization at a time. If another organization invites you, you can't accept it while you're an active member of your current organization. Accepting shows You cannot join a new organization without leaving the current one.

How long is an invitation valid?

7 days. Sending the invitation again replaces the old link with a new one, valid for another 7 days. When an Integrator or Member invites someone, they send a Request invite for the Member role instead, and no email goes out until an Admin approves it on Pending Invites. See Approve invite requests.

What happens if I make someone else the Admin?

You and that person swap roles: you take their previous role, Integrator or Member. You can't change the role of the last Admin or remove them, and Admins don't count toward the organization's Integrator and Member limits. See Change a member's role.

I lead a team. Why can't I add members?

Team Lead rights apply only when your organization role is Member. You can then add people to your team, make them Lead, remove Members (not other Leads), and delete the team unless it has sub-teams. An Integrator who leads a team gets no extra rights, and an Admin can already manage every team. See Add members and team leads.

I'm in more than one team. Which one am I working in?

As a Member, you work in one active team at a time, and you switch it with Team in the sidebar. Reports, Common Spaces and your chat conversations follow your active team, but the chat guards of all your teams still apply. Integrators and Admins have no active team and see everything. See Why teams matter.

Data and connectors

Which databases can I connect?

PostgreSQL and MySQL. Add a connector only shows the types your platform administrator has turned on. See Supported databases.

Is there a limit on connectors, pipelines or workflows?

Only if your organization has a limit set. Limits can apply to connectors, pipelines, workflows and reports, and without one there's no cap. When you reach a limit, you see Organization … limit reached (current …, max …). Ask your Admin or InfiniStack to raise it. For connectors, see Troubleshooting → Connectors.

Do I have to enter the password again when I edit a connector?

No. Leave the password field empty to keep the saved password. You can't save changes while a pipeline that uses the connector is running. See Edit a connector.

What happens when I delete a connector?

Everything built on it in InfiniStack is deleted too: pipelines, data models, workflows, metrics, chat conversations and its table settings. The data in the database itself isn't touched. The dialog lists them under The following will also be deleted:, and you can't undo it. See Delete a connector.

Why didn't my pipeline run at its scheduled time?

Schedules run in UTC, not your local time. A scheduled run only starts when the pipeline is Active, and it's skipped if the previous run is still queued or running. See Set a schedule.

Why did my pipeline or workflow turn Inactive on its own?

After 5 failed runs in a row (the default), InfiniStack turns it off and notifies Admins and Integrators. Fix the cause in the run logs, then select Activate. See Automatic deactivation after failures.

How do I reload a whole table?

Pipelines load only new or changed rows. Use Reset sync state, and the next run reads every record again without deleting data already in the destination. See Reset sync state.

Does editing a pipeline change the version that runs now?

Only if you select Update pipeline. Save as new version leaves the running version as it is until you activate the new one. See Edit safely with versions.

Do I need to build the schema map myself?

No. Schema Intelligence runs on its own when a connector is created and when its credentials change, covering up to 200 tables per connector. Only Admins can rebuild it or edit its results. See What Schema Intelligence does.

AI

Which data sources can Chat with AI use?

MySQL and PostgreSQL connectors only, one data source at a time. You can switch it from the data-source menu at the top of the conversation. See Choosing a data source.

Can Chat change my data?

No. Chat only runs a single SELECT statement. Each query returns at most 1,000 rows, and the Query results table shows the first 50. See Safety and privacy.

Why can't I use Chat, or why is my question blocked?

As a Member, you need to be in a team to use Chat. An Admin can also set a chat guard on your team that blocks certain words. Admins and Integrators aren't affected by chat guards. See Troubleshooting → Chat with AI and Team chat guard.

Who can see my conversations?

Only you. If you're a Member in more than one team, the list shows only your active team's conversations, so switch Team in the sidebar to see the others. See Why teams matter.

What data is sent to the AI provider?

With PII Guard on, columns and values that look like personal data are replaced with [redacted] before anything goes to the AI provider, and the results you see in the app don't change. PII Guard is off by default, and Admins and Integrators can turn it on. See PII Guard.

Who can create custom skills?

Anyone in the organization, and everyone shares them. An organization can have up to 50 custom skills, and you can use up to 3 in one message. See Create a custom skill.

What does Chat remember about me?

Your AI memory belongs to you within your organization, and only you can see it. Chat keeps up to 50 memories of up to 1,000 characters each. See Your AI memory.

Why doesn't Chat use my Business Knowledge?

Chat only uses the published version, never drafts. Only an Admin can publish it. See Publish a version.

Can we turn AI off, and who sees how much we use?

Only InfiniStack can turn AI features on or off: Admins can't change this in the app. When AI is off, Chat with AI disappears from the sidebar within about 60 seconds. Only Admins can open Usage, which shows token totals for the whole organization, not per person. See When AI is turned off.

Sharing

Who can publish and share reports?

Only Integrators and Admins. Members can't create, publish or share reports. See Publish & share a report.

I shared a report, but a member can't see it. Why?

A Member sees a report only if it's published and shared with their active team, or with a Common Space their active team is attached to. Check that the report isn't a Draft, that their team or space is on the report, and that they've selected the right Team in the sidebar. See Who can see a report.

No. You share with Teams and Common Spaces only, and every share is view-only. To reach one person, share with a team they belong to. See Share with teams and Common Spaces.

Can I share a report that's still a draft?

Yes. Members don't see it until you publish, and after you share, Publish now? offers to publish it. Select Not now to keep it a draft. See Share with teams and Common Spaces.

What happens to access when I edit a published report?

Changing the title, a block, a section or the layout moves the report back to Draft, and members lose access until you select Republish. Changing the description or filters doesn't. Shares are kept, so republishing gives the same teams and spaces access again. See Drafts and published reports.

What is a Common Space?

A group of teams, so you can share a report once instead of once per team. Integrators and Admins see every space, and Members see only the spaces their active team is attached to. See Share through Common Spaces.

Do Admins and Integrators need to be on a team to see reports?

No. They see every report in the organization, draft or published. Team-based access applies only to Members. See Who can see a report.
