Troubleshooting

Sign-in and access

"Invalid email or password"

The email or password is wrong, or your account was deactivated. Check both and try again, or select Forgot password?. Each failed attempt counts towards the lockout below. See I forgot my password.

"Too many failed login attempts. Try again later."

After 5 failed sign-ins for the same email within 15 minutes, sign-in for that email is locked for 15 minutes, and even the right password is refused. Wait, then try again, or reset your password, which clears the lock straight away. See Why can't I sign in after several wrong passwords?

"Too many requests. Try again later."

Sign-in, sign-up, password reset and invitation pages allow 20 requests a minute from the same network. You can also see this in Chat, Metrics or Workflows after more than 30 questions or queries in a minute. Either way, wait a minute, then try again.

The password reset email didn't arrive

Forgot password? always shows If an account exists for this email, a reset link has been sent., even when no email goes out. An email is only sent to an active, verified account that has a password, so invited people who haven't chosen a password yet get nothing. Check your spam folder and the email you typed, or finish setting up your account from your invitation email.

The reset link is more than 1 hour old, was already used, or a newer reset email replaced it. Request a new link from Forgot password? and use the newest email. After a reset you're signed out on every device, so sign in again with the new password. See I forgot my password.

The verification email didn't arrive

Check your spam or junk folder. If it isn't there, go back to the Check your email page and select Resend verification email. Each new email has a fresh link, and earlier links stop working.

The link is more than 2 hours old, or a newer one was sent after it. Sign up again with the same email, and InfiniStack sends you a new link. Your account keeps the password you chose the first time.

"Email already registered. Please login."

An account with that email is already verified. Sign in instead.

"Please verify your email before logging in."

You tried to sign in before you verified your email. Open the latest verification email and select the link, or sign up again with the same email to get a new one.

"Email is already verified. Please login."

You selected Resend verification email after the email was already verified, for example in another tab or on another device. Sign in instead.

"Organization is inactive. Please contact support."

Your InfiniStack account has been deactivated. You see this when you create an account or resend the verification email. Contact InfiniStack support. If your organization is suspended or deleted, you see Your organization is suspended or Your organization is unavailable instead.

The password isn't accepted

The rules under the Password field list what's missing. Make sure the password is 8 to 128 characters long and has at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.

I can't see a feature in the app

The app only shows the areas your role can open. See Roles at a glance, and ask an Admin in your organization if you need a different role.

If you open a page your role can't use, from a bookmark or a link someone shared, InfiniStack takes you to Home without a message. Check what your role can open in Roles at a glance, and ask an Admin if you need a different role or team.

I was sent back to the sign-in page

Your session ended and couldn't be renewed, so you were signed out without a message. This happens when you haven't used InfiniStack for about 7 days, when your password was changed or reset elsewhere, or when a session was revoked in Active Sessions. Sign in again. If it keeps happening, check Settings > Active Sessions and change your password if you don't recognise a device. See Your profile and settings.

"Your organization is suspended"

Your organization has been suspended. Until it's active again, every page brings you back here, and the only option is Sign out. Contact your organization's administrator or InfiniStack support.

"Your organization is unavailable"

Your organization has been deleted and is no longer active. The only option is Sign out. Contact InfiniStack support if you think this is a mistake.

Welcome asks me to create an organization

You're signed in but don't belong to an organization. This happens with a new account, or when an Admin removed you: removing someone ends their membership but keeps their account. If you were removed by mistake, ask an Admin of that organization to invite you again, then accept the new invitation. Only select Create organization if you want to start a new one. See Remove a member.

"Current password is incorrect"

On Settings > Password, the Current Password you typed is wrong. Type it again. If you've forgotten it, sign out and use Forgot password? on the sign-in page.

"New password must be different from current password"

Choose a New Password that isn't your current one. After a change, your other devices are signed out and you get a confirmation email.

"Contact number must be exactly 10 digits"

On Settings > Profile, Contact Number must be exactly 10 digits, or empty. Enter the number without spaces or symbols, or clear the field.

Notifications

"Browser notifications blocked. Enable them in browser settings."

You selected Enable in Settings > Notifications and then blocked the browser's prompt. Select the lock or tune icon to the left of the address, open Site settings > Notifications, choose Allow, then reload the page. If notifications were already blocked, there's no Enable button: Settings > Notifications shows Blocked — use your browser site settings to allow, and the same steps fix it. See Notifications.

"Unavailable on this HTTP address — Chrome requires HTTPS or localhost"

Settings > Notifications shows this with an HTTPS required note, and there's no Enable button. InfiniStack is open on a plain http:// address, and browsers only allow desktop notifications on secure pages. Open InfiniStack from its https:// address, or ask your administrator to serve it securely. The bell in the app still works.

"This resource is no longer available."

You opened a notification that has no page left to open. Nothing needs fixing. Open the item from its own page instead, and discard the notification if you don't need it.

Connectors

"Organization members cannot create connectors"

Your role is Member. Ask an Admin in your organization to make you an Integrator. See Roles at a glance.

"Organization connector limit reached (current …, max …)."

Your organization has as many connectors as it's allowed. Delete a connector you no longer use, or ask your Admin or InfiniStack to raise the limit, then try again.

"Couldn't connect — check the values above."

InfiniStack couldn't reach the database with the details you entered. Read the error below the message, then check the host, port, database name, username and password, and that the database accepts connections from InfiniStack.

"Re-enter the password (and any other secret) to test or save a changed connection. Changed: …"

You changed the host, port, database, username or another detail of a saved connector and left Password blank. InfiniStack only reuses the saved password when those details stay the same. Type the password again, then select Test connection or Save changes. See Edit a connector.

"Enter a name for this connector."

A required field is empty, and the message under it names the field. Fill it in and try again. When you edit a connector, you can leave Password blank to keep the saved one, unless you changed other details.

"Connection failed" on a connector row

The last Test connection from the Connectors list failed, and the error appeared as a message at the time. In the row menu, select Edit, fix the connection details, and select Save changes. Then go back to Connectors and select Test connection in the row menu. The row shows Connected once that test succeeds. See Test the connection.

"This connector type is not available yet."

You opened a link to a connector type you can't add yet. Today you can add PostgreSQL and MySQL. For a MariaDB database, pick MySQL. See Supported databases.

"No connectors available"

No database types are available to your organization yet. Ask your platform administrator to add them.

"Saved connection details are incomplete."

A test from the Connectors page found missing details. Open the connector, fill in every required field, and select Save changes.

"No connectors match your filters"

Nothing matches what you typed in Search connectors…. Try a different search term, or select All if the category tabs are shown.

"Failed to fetch connectors"

The Connectors page couldn't load your connectors. Reload the page.

"Connector not found"

The connector was deleted, or the link is out of date. Select Back to connectors.

Schema Intelligence

"Select an organization to view schema intelligence."

No organization is selected. Choose your organization in the app, then open Schema Intelligence again.

"No semantic health yet."

None of your connectors has a schema map yet. Add a connector, or ask an Admin to select a connector and select Rebuild schema.

"Ensure metadata flags are on and the API is up."

The page couldn't load the scores. Select Refresh. If the message stays, contact InfiniStack support.

"… Confirm this UI is pointed at an API build that includes /semantic/* routes, then Refresh."

The Relationships graph or the cross-connector links couldn't load. The text before it is the reason. Select Refresh. If the message stays, contact InfiniStack support. See Review relationships.

"No relationship graph yet."

The connector hasn't been rebuilt since it was added, or the last run failed. Ask an Admin to select the connector and select Rebuild schema. Check the Bootstrap column on the Overview tab for an error.

"Need at least two connectors in this org"

Links between connectors need two connectors. Add a second connector, then rebuild both.

InfiniStack didn't find the same entity in two connectors. Rebuild both connectors. If there's still nothing, the connectors may not share a key InfiniStack can match.

"Only organization admins can semantic.rebuild"

Only Admins can rebuild, clear, edit tables or confirm links. The same goes for messages ending in semantic.clear, semantic.override or semantic.links. Ask an Admin in your organization. See Roles at a glance.

"Rebuild failed"

The rebuild stopped with an error. Check the Bootstrap column on the Overview tab for the error, fix the connector if needed, and select Rebuild again. This message can also appear when saving a table override fails.

"Table cache entry not found"

InfiniStack hasn't read that table yet, or it was removed. Rebuild the connector, then edit the table again.

"Failed to clear schema intelligence"

The clear didn't run. Select Refresh to check whether the connector still exists, then try again.

The link couldn't be saved. Select Refresh and try again. Both connectors must belong to your organization.

Business Knowledge

"Only organization admins can generate or publish BKL."

Only Admins can generate drafts, publish and clear. Integrators can view published objects. The same goes for Only organization admins can view draft details. and API messages that start with Only organization admins can. Ask an Admin in your organization. See Roles at a glance.

"No published BKL yet. Generate drafts and publish to save knowledge for Chat."

Nothing has been published for your organization. An Admin needs to generate drafts and publish them. See Build & publish business knowledge.

"Connect a data source before using this feature."

Your organization has no active connector. Add a connector, then try again.

"Failed to generate BKL drafts from connector"

The drafts weren't created. Check that the connector's schema map is healthy in Schema Intelligence, then select Generate drafts again.

"Cannot publish '…': missing primary table mapping."

The named draft isn't linked to a table, so nothing was published. Select Clear BKL, generate drafts for each connector again, then publish. The same fix applies to Cannot publish '…': no measures defined.

"BKL version … is already published."

That version was published already, for example from another browser tab. Refresh the page. If there are still drafts, select Publish version again.

"No draft or review objects available to publish."

There are no drafts to publish. Select Generate drafts first. The same fix applies to No draft version available to publish. Generate drafts first. See Generate drafts.

"Failed to publish Business Knowledge Layer"

The publish didn't run. Refresh the page and select Publish version again.

"Failed to clear Business Knowledge Layer"

The clear didn't run. Refresh the page and select Clear BKL again.

Chat with AI

"Connect your data to start asking questions"

Your organization has no connector Chat can use. An Integrator or Admin needs to add a MySQL or PostgreSQL connector. See Add a connector.

"This connector is not available for Chat AI (MySQL and PostgreSQL only)."

Chat only works with MySQL and PostgreSQL connectors. Pick one of those as the conversation's data source.

"Select a data source for this chat before sending a message."

The conversation has no data source. Pick one from the data-source menu at the top of the conversation, then send your message again.

"Chat with AI is available after you join a team. Ask an organisation admin to add you to a team."

Members can use Chat only once they're in a team. Ask an Admin to add you. See Teams & Common Spaces.

"Your team is not allowed to query this kind of data via chat. Ask an organisation admin if you need access."

Your team's settings block questions about this kind of data. Ask an Admin in your organization if you need access. Your team may show its own message here instead.

Chat with AI is missing or greyed out

AI is turned off for your organization. See AI features are disabled for this organization.

"LLM is not configured. Contact your administrator."

The AI service Chat uses isn't set up yet. Contact your administrator.

"The assistant took too long to respond. Please try again."

The answer didn't arrive in time. Send your message again. If it keeps happening, ask a simpler or narrower question.

"The assistant's session ended unexpectedly, so a new one was started. Please send your message again — recent questions and queries will be carried over."

The assistant stopped while answering, so Chat started a new session for the conversation. Send your message again. Your recent questions and queries carry over.

"Lost connection while waiting for the answer. It may already be saved — checking now."

The connection dropped while Chat was answering. Wait a moment: the answer may appear on its own. If it doesn't, send your message again.

"Your previous message is still being answered."

Chat answers one message at a time. Wait for the current answer to appear, then send your message again. Your text stays in the message box.

"The assistant didn't produce an answer this time. Please send your message again."

Chat finished without an answer. Send your message again.

"That request could not be completed. Please try again."

Something went wrong while answering. Send your message again.

"Couldn't load chart/table"

The chart or table for an answer didn't load. Select Retry.

"Maximum 3 skills per message. Remove one /skill first."

You can use up to 3 skills in one message. Remove one of the /skill names from your message. See Skills & AI memory.

"Custom skill '…' already exists for this organization."

Another custom skill in your organization uses that slug. Pick a different slug, or select Edit on the existing skill under Your organization skills. See Create a custom skill.

"Slug '…' is reserved for a platform skill."

The slug matches one of the platform skills. Choose a different slug for your custom skill.

"Slug must be 3–64 characters: lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens."

Use a slug of 3 to 64 characters, for example acme-revenue-playbook, then select Save.

"Invalid slug format. Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only."

The slug has spaces, underscores or other symbols, or starts or ends with a hyphen. Use only letters, numbers and hyphens, and start and end with a letter or number. Capital letters become lowercase on their own.

"Maximum custom skills per organization is 50."

Your organization already has 50 custom skills. Delete one you no longer use, then select Save again.

"Skill body exceeds maximum size (16384 bytes)."

The Instructions (markdown) text is over 16 KB. Shorten it, then select Save again.

"This memory looks like it contains credentials or personal data, so it was not saved"

The memory text you edited looks like a password, key or personal detail, so Chat won't store it. Remove that part, then save again. See Your AI memory.

"This looks like it contains credentials or personal data, so it was not saved"

Something you typed in Your work context looks like a password, key or personal detail. Remove it from the field, then save again.

"Conversation not found"

The conversation was deleted, or the link is out of date. Select Back to Chat with AI and open it from your list. You can only open conversations you started. If you're a Member, the conversation may belong to another of your teams: switch back to that team with Team in the sidebar.

My conversations disappeared after I switched teams

As a Member, each conversation belongs to the team that was active when you started it, and the list only shows your active team's conversations. Switch back with Team in the sidebar. Admins and Integrators aren't affected. See I'm in more than one team.

"Data source removed"

The connector this conversation used was deleted, or Chat can no longer use it. Open the conversation and pick another MySQL or PostgreSQL data source from the data-source menu, or start a new conversation.

"No conversations match your filters"

Nothing matches your search or data-source filter. Search only covers conversations already loaded. Clear the search, scroll down to load older conversations, then search again. Or pick All data sources.

"Unable to submit report"

Your report of an AI reply wasn't sent. Select Submit report again in a moment.

"Failed to add metric to report"

The answer wasn't added to the report. Select Add to report again. You need the Integrator or Admin role: Members see Add to report too, but get Insufficient permissions to manage reports instead. See Roles at a glance.

Metrics

"Connect your data to create metrics"

Metrics are built from connected data, and your organization has none yet. Add a connector first. See Connectors.

"Select a connector to save"

Pick a connector in Connector at the top of the builder, then select Save metric again.

"Wait for query preview to finish"

Your latest query is still running in the preview. Wait for Running query… to clear, then save.

"Fix the query error before saving"

The preview of your current SQL failed. Read the error in the preview, fix the query in SQL query, and save once the preview shows results.

"Query ran successfully but returned no rows"

The query is valid but matched nothing. Widen your filters or check that the SQL matches your data. KPI, table, pivot and chart settings stay unavailable until the query returns rows.

"Run a successful query first to configure chart type and mapping."

The Chart settings tab stays unavailable until the query has run without errors. Write or fix the query in the SQL Query tab first.

"Chart needs a dimension and a metric. This query returns a single value."

A chart needs a column to group by. Pick KPI or Table in Visual type, or add a dimension column to your query.

"Pivot needs a categorical row dimension. Scalar or all-numeric results cannot pivot."

Add a text or category column to your query, or pick another Visual type.

"Only SELECT statements are allowed"

Metrics only read data, so the query can't change anything (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE and so on). Rewrite it as one SELECT statement. Only a single SELECT statement is allowed means there's a second statement after the first: remove it. See Write SQL or ask AI.

"Query plan estimates … rows (limit 500000). Narrow the query or add filters."

The database expects the query to read more than 500,000 rows, so the preview is refused. Add WHERE filters or aggregate the data. Queries that are too complex are refused the same way, with Query exceeds maximum joins (8), Query exceeds maximum UNION operations (3) or Query exceeds maximum CTE nesting depth (3): split them into simpler metrics.

"Choose a data source before asking AI."

Pick a Connector at the top of the builder, then use Ask AI again.

"Ask AI supports MySQL and PostgreSQL connectors only."

Ask AI can't write SQL for this connector. Write the query yourself in the SQL Query tab.

"This message has no SQL query to save"

You can only save a chat reply as a metric when it was built from a SQL query. Ask the question again so the reply includes a chart or table.

"Failed to load metric"

The metric couldn't be opened, and you return to Metrics. Check that it's still in the list, then open it again.

"Refresh failed"

The metric's data wasn't refreshed. Select Refresh data again in a moment.

"No metrics match your filters."

No saved metric matches your search or type filter. Clear Search metrics... and set the filter back to All types.

Reports

"Connect your data to build reports"

Reports are built from connected data, and your organization has none yet. An Integrator or Admin needs to select Connect a data source and add a connector. See Connectors.

"No reports visible yet. Ask an admin if you expected to see shared reports."

No published report is shared with your team, or with a Common Space your team belongs to. Ask an Admin or Integrator to publish the report and share it with your team. If you aren't in a team, ask an Admin to add you. See Who can see a report.

"Report not found"

The report was deleted, isn't shared with your team, or was moved back to draft after an edit. Ask the report's owner to publish and share it again.

"Failed to load report"

The report couldn't be opened, and you return to Reports. Check that it's still in the list, then open it again.

"Failed to load reports"

The Reports page couldn't load the list. Select Retry.

"Insufficient permissions to manage reports"

Only Integrators and Admins can create, edit, publish, share or organize reports. Ask an Admin in your organization. See Roles at a glance.

"Organization report limit reached (current …, max …)."

Your organization has as many reports as it's allowed. Delete a report you no longer use, then try again.

"Failed to create report"

The report wasn't created. Try again in a moment. If you also see the report limit message above, delete a report first.

"Name is required"

On the Create report page, enter a Name before you select Create report.

"Describe the report you want to build."

Compose with AI needs a description. Type what the report should cover, or select one of the Suggestions.

"Could not compose report outline"

The outline wasn't created. Select Compose outline again. If it keeps failing, shorten or simplify your description.

Compose with AI or insight blocks aren't available

AI is turned off for your organization. See AI features are disabled for this organization.

"No metrics found. Create a metric first."

There's no saved metric to show in the block, or none matches your search. Clear Search metrics…, or select + Create new metric.

"Add a chart, KPI, table, or pivot block first."

An insight analyzes another block in the report. Add a chart, big number, table or pivot block, then add the insight.

"Slot already contains a block"

A column holds one block. Drop the block into an empty column, or add a new row.

"Cannot delete the only section"

A report needs at least one section. Add another section first, or delete the rows and blocks inside this one instead. See Sections, rows and blocks.

"Metric not found"

A block on the report uses a metric that was deleted. Ask an Integrator or Admin to remove the block or swap in another metric, then publish the report again. See Add metrics and AI insights.

"Failed to move report to draft"

Edit & move to draft didn't work, so the report is still published and can't be edited. Select Edit, then Edit & move to draft again in a moment. See Publish a report.

"Failed to publish report"

The report wasn't published. Select Publish again in a moment. The same goes for Failed to unpublish report.

"Select at least one team"

In Share report, select at least one team under Add teams before you select Share. On the Common Spaces tab, the message is Select at least one common space.

"Select at least one team for this common space"

A new Common Space needs at least one team. Select one under Teams, then select Create & share.

"A folder with this name already exists here."

Another folder in the same place has that name. Pick a different name, or open the existing folder.

"Folder name is required."

Type a name for the folder before you create it.

"You can pin at most 10 reports to Home"

You already have 10 reports pinned. Unpin one with the pin on its card on Reports, or with the pin in the report's header, then pin the new one. The Pinned reports panel on Home has no unpin control.

The Pin to Home button is missing

Only Members can pin reports to Home, so Integrators and Admins don't see the pin. Use My Favorites or the Library to get to reports quickly. See Pin a report to Home.

"Could not update Home pin"

The pin didn't change. Select the pin again in a moment.

Pipelines

"Organization members cannot create pipelines"

Your role is Member, and only Integrators and Admins can create, edit, run or delete pipelines. The same goes for other messages that start with Organization members cannot. Ask an Admin in your organization. See Roles at a glance.

"Your workspace is being prepared. This usually takes under a minute."

Your organization's workspace isn't ready yet, so you can't create or run pipelines. Wait a minute, then try again. While you wait, Add pipeline shows Workspace is still being prepared, and Run now shows Workspace ELT runner is not ready.

"We couldn't finish setting up your workspace. Please try again later or contact support."

Setting up your organization's workspace failed, so you can't create or run pipelines, and workflow runs are blocked too. Admins and Integrators also get a Workspace setup failed notification. You can't fix this from the app. Contact InfiniStack support.

"Organization pipeline limit reached (current …, max …)."

Your organization has as many pipelines as it's allowed. You see it under Save error when you create the pipeline. Delete a pipeline you no longer use, or ask your Admin or InfiniStack to raise the limit, then save again. See Is there a limit on connectors, pipelines or workflows?

"No destination connectors are configured for this organization."

You have no connector to load data into. Add a connector, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, then start the pipeline again.

"Discovery failed"

The wizard couldn't read the tables from the source connector. Read the message under it, check the connector's details on Connectors, then go back a step and try again.

"No tables or objects were found for this connector."

The source connector has no tables the wizard can read. Check that the connector points at the right database and that its user can read the tables.

"Limit must be between 0 and 100000"

Enter a whole number from 0 to 100000 in Limit, with digits only. The same fix applies to Limit must contain only numbers (0–100000).

"Replication key is required."

Enter a column in Replication key. Pick one that always increases, such as the primary key or a date or timestamp column.

"Add at least one transformation rule."

With Enable ETL transformation on, you need at least one rule. Add a rule, or go back to Streams and turn the switch off.

"Source column is required for row N."

Each rule needs an Action, plus a Source Column and Target Column when that action uses them. Fill in the missing field in the row named. The same goes for Transformation action is required for row N. and Target column name is required for row N.

"Duplicate name"

Two rules use the same Target Column name. Give each one a different name, using only letters, numbers and underscores, starting with a letter or underscore.

"Source probe failed"

The wizard couldn't read sample rows from the source. Read the message, check the connector's details, then select Retry.

"Invalid table name format"

The New table name must start with a letter or underscore, and use only letters, numbers and underscores.

"Failed to save pipeline."

The pipeline wasn't saved. Read the message under Save error, fix the step it names, and save again.

"A run is already in progress."

A pipeline runs one at a time. Wait for the current run to finish, then select Run now again. Select View runs to follow it.

"Pipeline is inactive."

Inactive pipelines don't run. In the row menu, select Activate, then Run now. If you didn't turn it off, it may have stopped after several failed runs in a row (5 by default). See Automatic deactivation after failures.

"Pipeline disabled"

The notification Pipeline "…" was disabled (consecutive_failures). means the pipeline failed 5 runs in a row (the default), so InfiniStack set it to Inactive. Open its run history and read the failed runs' logs. Fix the cause, then select Activate in the row menu. See Automatic deactivation after failures.

"The sync runner is not available for this organization. Please try again later or contact support."

After Run now, InfiniStack couldn't start your organization's pipeline runner. Wait a few minutes and select Run now again. If it keeps happening, contact InfiniStack support.

"… connector installation is in progress, please wait a few seconds and try again"

The software InfiniStack uses to read from your source or write to your destination is still being installed, for example just after you added the connector. Scheduled runs are skipped until it's done. Wait a few seconds, then select Run now again. If the message says install failed, contact InfiniStack support.

A scheduled run didn't start

Schedules use UTC. A run is skipped if the pipeline is Inactive, if a run is still queued or running, or if its connectors are still being installed. A scheduled time that passes while InfiniStack is unavailable, for example during maintenance, isn't run later. Check that the pipeline is Active and the time is in UTC, and select Run now to run it once by hand. See Set a schedule.

"Run queued — waiting for runner capacity."

All of your organization's run slots are busy. The run starts on its own when one is free. See Why a run is queued.

"Cannot change pipeline configuration while a run is queued, dispatching, or running"

You can't update or delete a pipeline while it runs. Wait for the run to finish, then try again. To keep your changes now without touching the running pipeline, use Save as new version. See Edit safely with versions.

"Cannot change the active version while a run is in progress"

Wait for the run to finish, then activate the version again. Select View run to follow it.

"A version switch is already in progress for this pipeline. Wait for it to finish, then try again."

Someone else is switching this pipeline's version. Wait a moment, then try again.

"Activation is taking longer than expected. Versions have been refreshed — check which one is active before trying again."

The switch may still be going on. Open the version menu, check which version is Active, and select Activate again only if it's still the wrong one. See Activate a version.

"Cannot delete the active version — activate a different version first"

Activate another version, then delete this one. See Activate a version.

"Cannot reset sync state"

The pipeline is running. Select View Run to follow it, and reset the sync state once it finishes.

"Pipeline saved but sync state reset failed. Retry Reset Sync State from the Pipelines list."

Your pipeline was saved, but the sync state reset you asked for didn't run. On Pipelines, open the row menu and select Reset sync state. See Reset sync state.

"Pipeline not found"

The pipeline was deleted, or the link is out of date. Select Back to pipelines.

Workflows

"Bring your data into Workflows"

Your organization has no connector, and workflows need one. Select Connect a data source and add a connector. See Add a connector.

"Organization members cannot create workflows"

Your role is Member, and only Integrators and Admins can create, edit, run or delete workflows. The same goes for other messages that start with Organization members cannot. Ask an Admin in your organization. See Roles at a glance.

"Workspace unavailable"

Your organization's workspace is missing and needs to be restored by InfiniStack support before you can create a workflow. Contact InfiniStack support.

"Workflow name is required"

In New workflow, enter a Workflow name before you select Create & open builder.

"Organization workflow limit reached (current …, max …)."

Your organization has as many workflows as it's allowed. Delete a workflow you no longer use, or ask your Admin or InfiniStack to raise the limit, then select Create & open builder again. See Is there a limit on connectors, pipelines or workflows?

"Could not save workflow."

The workflow wasn't created or updated. Try again in a moment.

"The first cell must be a connector cell."

A workflow starts with a Connector cell. Select Add cell, then Connector cell, and keep it at the top. See Add a connector cell.

"No connectors yet — add one from the Connectors page before configuring this cell."

The connector cell has nothing to pick. Add a connector, then come back to the workflow.

"Connection name must start with a letter or underscore, then use only letters, numbers, or underscores."

Change the out: name of the connector cell, for example to sales_db.

"Add and run a Connector cell first, then select it here before running SQL."

A SQL cell needs a connector cell above it that has run. Add a connector cell, run it, then pick its key in Connection.

"Run the Connector cell ("…") first."

The connector cell this cell uses hasn't run in your current session. Run it, or select Run all.

"Run the upstream … cell ("…") first."

The cell that produces this dataframe hasn't run in your current session. Run it first, or select Run all. The same fix applies to Dataframe "…" is not available in this session. Run its producer cell first.

"No upstream cell produces "…"."

No cell above this one has that output variable. Check the spelling in Dataframe variable, or the out: name of the cell you meant.

"Output is from a previous session. Run upstream cells, then run this cell again."

You reopened the workflow, and the result shown is from an earlier session. Select Run all, or run the cells above this one and then this cell.

"Only read-only queries are permitted. Got: …"

SQL cells only read data. Start your query with SELECT, WITH, SHOW, DESCRIBE or EXPLAIN. To write data, use a Save to DB cell.

"SQL result capped: returned N rows (limit L)."

The query returned more rows than a SQL cell keeps, 10,000. Add LIMIT, use GROUP BY to return fewer rows, or turn on Incremental fetch.

"Save the workflow to enable incremental checkpoints."

Incremental fetch keeps its progress with the saved workflow. Select Save, then run the cell.

"Select a destination connector."

In the Save to DB cell, pick a Destination connector. The same goes for Table name is required. and Enter the dataframe variable name to save.: fill in the field the message names.

"Table "…" already exists. Cannot create it again — use Append or Replace, or choose a different table name."

The Save to DB cell is set to Fail if exists, and the table is already there. Pick Append or Replace, or enter a different Table name.

"Add a cell before saving."

A workflow needs at least one cell before you can save it. Add a Connector cell first.

"Save failed."

The workflow wasn't saved. Select Save again in a moment.

"Workflow is inactive."

Inactive workflows don't run. In the row menu, select Activate, then Run all. If you didn't turn it off, it may have stopped after 5 failed runs in a row (the default). See Workflow disabled below.

"Workflow disabled"

The notification Workflow "…" was disabled (consecutive_failures). means the workflow failed 5 finished runs in a row (the default). InfiniStack set it to Inactive, stopped its scheduled runs, and added Automatically deactivated after 5 consecutive failures. Please check configuration and logs. to the start of its description. Select View runs, read the failed runs' cell logs and fix the cause, then select Activate in the row menu. Everyone in the organization gets this notification. See Turn a workflow on or off.

My edits didn't run

The builder shows The draft has changes that are not in the active version. Your edits change only the draft, and Run all from the Workflow Studio list and scheduled runs use the active version. A new workflow starts with an empty first version as its active version. Select Save as new version, then open the version menu and select Activate next to the new version. See Versions.

"A run is already in progress."

A workflow runs one at a time. Wait for the current run to finish, or select Cancel run in the row menu. Select View runs to follow it.

"Run completed locally but was not saved to history."

The cells ran, but the run wasn't added to View runs. Your results in the builder are fine. Run the workflow again if you need it in the history.

"Cannot delete the active version — activate a different version first"

Activate another version from the version menu, then delete this one. See Versions.

"Workflow not found"

The workflow was deleted, or the link is out of date. Select Back to Workflow Studio.

Members and invitations

"Create a team first before inviting a member"

Members must belong to a team, and your organization has no teams yet. Create a team under Teams, or invite the person as an Integrator or Admin. See Teams & Common Spaces.

"Team is required when inviting a member"

Select a Team in the dialog. A team is required for the Member role and optional for the others.

"User is already a member of this organization"

Someone with that email has already joined. Find them on Members and use Edit to change their role instead.

"Organization member limit reached (current …, max …)."

Your organization has as many Members as it's allowed. Remove someone you no longer need, or invite the person with a different role. The same message with integrator applies to Integrators. Admins don't count towards a limit.

"Pending invitation exists" or "Invite request exists"

Someone already invited this email, or asked for an invite that's waiting for an Admin. Select Send again (Admins) or Update request, or select Not now and wait. Integrators and Members can't send an emailed invitation again while it's pending. See Invite people.

"You do not have permission to view organization members."

Only Admins can see the Members list. To invite someone, use Invite User in the top bar, which sends an invite request for an Admin to approve.

"Invitation unavailable"

The invitation can't be used, and the line under the title says why. Links stop working after 7 days, and when an Admin sends the invitation again only the newest email works. Check the reason below, and ask an Admin in the organization to send a new invitation if you need one. See Invite people.

"Invitation has expired"

The invitation is more than 7 days old. Ask an Admin to send it again from Members. The new link is valid for 7 days.

"Invitation is no longer valid" or "Invitation not found"

The invitation was revoked or expired, or an Admin sent it again and replaced the link. Use the link in the newest invitation email, or ask an Admin to send it again.

"Invitation already accepted"

You already accepted this invitation, and the link only works once. Sign in instead. If you never finished choosing a password, contact your Admin or InfiniStack support.

"Organization unavailable (SUSPENDED)"

The organization that invited you is suspended or deleted, so its invitations can't be opened. You may see SOFT_DELETED in brackets instead. Contact the person who invited you.

The link is incomplete, often because it was copied without its end, or the invitation can't be loaded. The same goes for This invitation link is invalid or has expired. and This invitation link is missing a token. Select the button in the invitation email instead of copying the link, or ask an Admin to send it again.

"Invitation declined"

You, or someone with the link, selected Decline, and a declined invitation can't be accepted later. Ask an Admin to invite you again. The new email has a new link.

"You cannot join a new organization without leaving the current one "…"."

An account can belong to only one organization at a time, and you already belong to the one named. You can't leave it yourself, so the page only offers Decline invitation. Ask an Admin of your current organization to remove you from Members, then open the invitation link again. See Can I belong to more than one organization?

"Failed to load users"

The Members list didn't load. Select Retry.

"Failed to load pending invites"

The Pending Invites list didn't load. Select Retry.

"Invitation is not awaiting approval"

Someone already approved or denied this request. Select Refresh to update the list.

"Cannot change role of the last organization admin"

Your organization needs an Admin. To hand over the role, use Edit to make another person Admin instead. The current Admin then takes the role that person had.

Organization role is read-only when you edit yourself

When you open Edit on your own row, Organization role can't be changed and there's no Save changes button. Ask another Admin to change your role.

"Cannot deactivate the last organization admin"

You can't remove the only Admin. Make someone else Admin first.

Teams and Common Spaces

"You are not assigned to a team"

Your organization role is Member, and Members must belong to a team. Ask an Admin in your organization to add you to a team. Until then, you can only select Sign out. See Teams & Common Spaces.

"Failed to load teams"

The Team List didn't load. Select Retry.

"Insufficient permissions to manage teams"

Only Admins can create and edit teams. A team Lead whose organization role is Member can also delete their own team, as long as it has no sub-teams. Otherwise, ask an Admin in your organization.

"A team with this name already exists in the organization"

Team names must be unique in your organization. Type a different Name. See Create a team.

"Access denied" on a team page

You opened a link to a private team you don't belong to. Only its members and Admins can open it. Ask an Admin or the team's Lead to add you.

Switching Team took me back to the list

When you change Team in the sidebar while a report, a Common Space or a conversation is open, InfiniStack goes back to Reports, Common Spaces or Chat with AI, because that item may belong to the other team. Open the item again from the list. See The sidebar.

"Insufficient permissions to manage team members"

You can add and remove people only on a team you lead, and only if your organization role is Member. Otherwise, ask an Admin. The same applies to Insufficient permissions to assign team lead role.

"Team leads can only remove members"

As a team Lead, you can remove people whose team role is Member, not other Leads. Ask an Admin to remove a Lead.

"User is already a team member"

The person is already on this team. Find them in Members and change their Role instead.

"Team has sub-teams. Ask an organization admin to delete it."

Other teams are set up under this one. They aren't created from the Teams page, but they still stop a team Lead from deleting it. Ask an Admin to delete the team.

"Failed to load common spaces"

The Common Spaces list didn't load. Select Retry.

"No common spaces are linked to your teams yet."

None of the Common Spaces in your organization has your active team attached. If you're in several teams, switch Team in the sidebar. Otherwise, ask an Admin or Integrator to attach your team to a space.

"Insufficient permissions to manage common spaces"

Only Admins and Integrators can create, edit and delete Common Spaces, and attach teams to them.

"Common space slug already exists"

Another Common Space uses that slug. Type a different Slug, or change the Name if you left the slug blank.

"Common space not found"

The space was deleted, or your active team isn't attached to it. Select Back to common spaces and pick a space from the list.

AI controls

"AI features are disabled for this organization."

An Admin turned AI off for your organization, so nobody in it can start new AI work. You see this message, or the AI control is greyed out or missing, in:

  • Chat with AI, which also disappears from the sidebar.
  • Reports: Compose with AI and insight blocks.
  • Metrics: Ask AI in the metric builder.
  • Workflows: Ask AI on SQL cells, which then only offer writing SQL yourself.

Ask an Admin in your organization to turn AI back on. See When AI is turned off.

An AI insight says "Category A" or "Category B" instead of real names

PII Guard is on. Before the AI writes an insight, top, bottom and outlier values are swapped for labels like Category A, so real values aren't sent to the AI provider, and those labels can appear in the text. Read the real values in the chart or table the insight describes. An Admin or Integrator can turn PII Guard off if your data policy allows it. See PII Guard.

"Only organization admins and integrators can change this setting."

You see this on the PII Guard card when your role is Member. Ask an Admin or Integrator in your organization to turn PII Guard on or off. See AI controls.

"Only organization admins can change these settings."

You see this on the AI Agent card when you aren't an Admin. Ask an Admin to change the System prompt or Out-of-scope message.

"Failed to update PII Guard setting"

The change didn't save, and the switch goes back to where it was. Turn it again. If it keeps failing, reload the page.

"Failed to update AI agent settings"

Your text didn't save. Check that System prompt is at most 8192 characters and Out-of-scope message at most 2000, then select Save AI agent settings again.

"Fixed prompt, restricted words, and deny message are required together — fill in all three or clear all three to save."

A team's chat guard needs all three of Fixed team prompt, Restricted words and Deny message, or none of them. Fill in the empty ones, or clear the others, then select Save chat guard.

The Chat guard section is missing from a team's page

Only Admins see Chat guard. Team Leads can open the team but can't change its chat guard.

"Failed to save chat guard"

The team's guard didn't save. Check the three required fields, then select Save chat guard again.

"Failed to remove chat guard"

The team's guard is still in place. Select Remove chat guard again. If it keeps failing, reload the page.

AI usage

"Unable to load usage analytics."

The Usage page couldn't get the token totals. Reload the page. If it keeps failing, contact your InfiniStack administrator.

"Usage analytics is not configured …"

Usage reporting isn't set up for your InfiniStack installation, so the Usage page can't show totals. Contact your InfiniStack administrator.

"Only organization admins can view usage analytics for this organization"

Only Admins can see AI usage. Ask an Admin in your organization. See Roles at a glance.

"No bucket usage for this period."

No AI feature was used in the month or date range you picked. Pick another month, or a wider custom date range. See Choose a period.

A feature I use is missing from Bucket usage

If one feature's totals can't be read, its row is left out instead of showing an error. Reload the page later to try again.
